2025 SVE Spring Tournament 

Spring Tournament Volunteer Needed

Date: March 10-15

We’re gearing up for an exciting event, and we need your help to make it a success! We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to assist with a variety of tasks. Whether you can spare a couple of hours or help for the entire tournament your support will have a huge impact! Your contribution will ensure everything runs smoothly and create a fantastic experience for both players and attendees. Please click below to find the areas needing help.

Canada/USA games 

Date: Saturday, February 8th

Time: 9:00am-4:00pm

Join us for the annual Canada/USA Fun Day on Saturday, February 8th! This event is a celebration of friendly competition between our two countries. Matches will take place throughout the day, with snacks and coffee served in the morning and lunch provided at noon.

If you plan to join us for lunch or participate in the games, please sign up for your respective country by 5:00 PM on Tuesday, February 4th. 

We are also seeking kitchen volunteers to help make this event a success. If you’d like to lend a hand.

Venture Out Invitational Fun Day

Date: Saturday February 22

Time:  starts at 9:00am

SVE Tennis members are invited to attend a fun day of tennis at the Venture Out Tennis Club on February 22nd. This all-day event will begin at 9:00 AM, with matches scheduled throughout the day between SVE and Venture Out club members. Venture Out will be supplying lunch.

To Participate:
Please sign up by 5:00pm February 16th. During registration, you’ll be asked to indicate:

• Your skill level

• If you plan to have lunch

If you have a preferred playing time (morning or afternoon) and/or you want to play with a specific person indicated that in the comment section

Ladies Tennis Extravaganza 

Date: Saturday, March 1, 2025

 Time: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

 Location: SVE Tennis Courts 

We’re thrilled to invite all SVE women tennis club members and SVE women tennis club affiliate members to attend the Ladies Tennis Extravaganza. This will be a special event celebrating tennis, friendships, and fun! 

What to Expect

• Tennis Clothing Exchange: Bring clean, gently used tennis or exercise clothing and equipment (bags, rackets, etc.) to donate and take something you like.

• Tennis Play: Enjoy 25-minute rotating rounds of tennis with players of all levels. Soft dot balls will be available for everyone to join in the fun.

• Lunch: Lunch will be provided by the SVE Tennis Club.

Shot of the week

Date: February 5th, 10th, 19th & 24th

Time: 11:30am-12:30pm

The first “Shot of the week”  will be held on Monday, December 30. There will be 9 classes in this program over the next 2 months. 

All SVE Tennis Club members are welcome to sign up for the weekly classes.

We would like to invite all those members who are currently on the waiting list for a session to attend that session. We will fit you in during that session. If you are interested in a specific session and have not yet signed up, add your name to the waiting list and we will fit you in.
